Tunisian president to visit Iran
TEHRAN, May 24 (MNA) Irans ambassador to Tunisia has said the countrys president has been willing to visit Tehran, and it is on agenda for the next few months.
Peiman Jebelli told Mehr News yesterday that Iran and Tunisia were in the path for better relations. Recently, both countries officials have paid constructive visits to both capitals, he added.

He pointed to what he called positive economic changes between Iran and Tunisia. The economic exchanges have been improved and a 23-people delegation by Iranian Chamber of Commerce had a successful visit to the country recently, he asserted.

Jebelli also said that Iran and Tunisia would establish a council of businessman and that Irans and Tunisian Chambers of Commerce would nominate the members to the council. Iran held special fair in Tunisia which proved crucial and within next two weeks Irans TradePromotionOrganizationwill visit the country to prepare the list of goods covered by the organization, the ambassador said.

In Late August Iran and Tunisia will hold 12th joint commission in Tehran, and Tunisian minister of commerce will visit the capital, he added.

Jebelli also said that Iran worked to diversify the traded goods and solve banking problems in an attempt to facilitate banking process and transfers. Both sides are determined to achieve this, he added.

However, he lamented the lack of information about Tunisia in Iran. Most of the visits had an exploratory nature, since we have little information about Tunisia, he maintained.
