TEHRAN May 17 (Shana)--Iran is to host the 11th International Conference on Coasts, Ports and Marine Structures (ICOPMAS) later this year.
The conference, scheduled for November 24-26, is titled �Coastal Zones; Opportunities and Challenges�.


The event, organized by Ports and Maritime Organization, is to set the stage for the exchange of views between maritime engineers and their sharing of experiences.

The event is sponsored by different organizations and universities including International Maritime Organization (IMO), World Meteorology Organization (WMO), International Hydrography Organization and World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC).
