Tehran, May 4, IRNA - President of Academy of Sciences of Iran Reza Davari Ardakani and President of Austrian Academy of Sciences Antoine Zillinger on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding for closer cooperation between the two academies.
��The two sides agreed to expand bilateral scientific, technological cooperation.
Based on the agreement, Iran and Austria will exchange information, students and professors and in the meantime, will hold joint scientific conferences.

The administration of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has been seeking to expand bilateral economic cooperation with European countries.

On March 9, Rouhani said Iran and the EU have great interests, objectives and common ground for cooperation and expressed hope that the two sides would manage to �take new and serious steps� for enhanced cooperation.
