Darya Belousova-Petrovskaya:�The corresponding agreement was reached at the meeting of Alexander Lukashenko with the Chair of Islamic Council of Iran. Today the investment of Iranian companies to Belarus amounts to 700m USD. The countries plan mutual production of oil, gas and Iranian diamonds. The cooperation between the countries fell in 2013 due to tough sanctions introduced by the USA.
The principal projects include construction of trade, entertainment and logistics centers. These projects were discussed with the PM Mikhail Myasnikovich and members of the Council of the Republic.

Ali Larijani, the Chair of the Islamic Council of Iran:�"I am very satisfied with the program of cooperation, meetings with the President, PM and speaker. We have very close positions on a number of international issues".

The political dialogue between the countries will be enhanced. The Iranian delegation laid floral tributes to the Monument of Victory.
