TEHRAN, April 14 (MNA) Iranian children will participate in an exhibition to sell their paintings to help cancer patients of MAHAK institute.An Iranian artist, Tara Behbahani, told Mehr News that this exhibition, Travel to the Far Lands, would bring together a group of teenager painters to give hope and support for children suffering from cancer.
Bebahani added that this was the 8thsuch exhibition held and children of 6-17 years-old age group exhibit their paintings to sell and help the cancer patients of their ages.
She also said that oil paintings would be exhibited in this exhibition and its subject pointed to childhood wishes which the young artists would feature.
Behbahani held that the young artists should think what they would like to see if they traveled to a distant land and draw their wishes.
57 paintings by young painters will be displayed on this exhibition.
The exhibition will open on April 17 at MAHAK institute and it is free for public to visit.
MAHAK institute is a hospital and rehabilitation complex and a pediatric cancer research and hospital center built and organized by Mahak charity. The 120-bedroom complex specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of children and providing support to their families during treatment.
