Tehran, March 26, IRNA - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei addressed a group of visitors of the Iraq war sites in southwestern country.The ayatollah was attending a ceremony in the province of Khuzestan in a memorial site erected in commemoration of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in operations in Darkhovein region in south of the river Karoun during the war imposed on Iran by the toppled Saddam regime in Iraq.
The Supreme Leader addressed a gathering of people who have travelled to the province to visit the war memorials and sites in the form of ?Rahian-e Noor? tours.
The annual tours taking place on the advent of the New Year in Iran are greatly welcomed by people who wish to visit operational zones of the eight years sacred defense against Iraqs military aggression.
