ILNA: Deputy Head of Iraq Wasit Province Chamber of Commerce Khalid Qutbi said on Saturday that Iraq welcomes expansion of cooperation and cultural, political and cultural ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.


Speaking in a joint meeting with Iranian officials from Ilam Province Chamber of Commerce attended by Iraqi commercial delegation, Qutbi said that considering the fact that the Iraqi infrastructures are ruined, Iranian traders and economic activists are invited to cooperate with Iraq to rebuild infrastructure.

He said Iraqi officials are ready for any kind of economic cooperation with Iran and use the opportunity to augment trade and commerce.

He noted that officials of the Iraqi Wasit Province are ready to cooperate with their counterparts in Iranian Ilam Province for economic and cultural cooperation.
