Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale Thursday morning jolted vicinity of Anbaran in northwestern province of Ardebil.
According to seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 09:35 hours local time (0605 GMT).

The quake was epicentered in an area located at 38.76 degrees latitude and 48.57 degrees longitude.

There is no report on any damage caused by the earthquake.
