Irans Majlis plans to send parliamentary friendship groups to Ireland and Germany in a bid to facilitate tourism ties with European countries.Head of Irans parliamentary friendship groups with Germany and Ireland Javad Heravi said on Saturday that the visits which are mainly aimed at facilitating the travelling of citizens and the visa issuance process will take place before the end of the current Persian calendar year (ending March 20).
He pointed to Irans growing relations with European countries and expressed optimism over the outcome of the upcoming parliamentary visits to Germany and Ireland.
Heravi termed active diplomatic relations the key to promoting Irans global status, and noted that Tehran should interact with other countries based on mutual respect.
