Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended the mausoleum of the Father of the Islamic Revolution and paid tribute to the late Imam Khomeini on Saturday.
The Supreme Leader also paid homage to the 1979 Islamic Revolution and war-time martyrs.

Today, February 1, is the first day of Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn). Millions of Iranians celebrate the return of the late Imam Khomeini, the Founder of the Islamic Republic to Iran from exile.

February 11 (Bahman 22) was the advent of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
