Damascus, Jan 15, IRNA � Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad here on Wednesday reviewed issues of mutual interest.

Zarif arrived in Damascus this morning to hold talks with Syrian officials on regional issues, the crisis in that country in particular.


Zarif arrived in Beirut, Lebanon, on Monday, on the first leg of his regional tour which later took him to Iraq and Jordan.
