TEHRAN, Jan. 7 (MNA) Irans deputy-FM for EU and North America has said British nonresident Charge d'affaires will visit Tehran.Majid Takht Ravachi said Mr. Mr Ajay Sharma would visit Tehran after Jack Straws visit. According to a memorandum of understanding signed with the Britain, we will gradually lead the relations further.
I believe we cannot deny the past events; however, we should eye the future, and in our foreign policy framework, based on mutual respect and equal standing see the process, he added.
We need time to achieve step-by-step improvement of the relations with the Britain. Thus, now setting a specific date when we open embassies, which is in the agenda by both countries; exchanges would significantly help the process, Takht Ravanchi asserted.
