Tehran, Jan 7, IRNA � Senior member of Iranian negotiating team Abbas Araqchi said here on Tuesday that he is to hold talks with Helga Schmid, deputy EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, on ways to implement the Geneva deal.�

He told IRNA that the talks is slated for January 9-10 in Geneva.


Experts of Iran and Group 5+1 organized a mechanism or a joint plan of action for implementation of bilateral agreement reached on November 24 in the Swiss city, Araqchi added.

The experts have proposed January 20 for implementation of the joint plan of action.

Commenting on the issue, Foreign Ministry Director-General for Political and International Affairs Hamid Baeedinejad said the date should be confirmed by the political managers.
