Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA � Iranian women were up 2, being given in the 53rd world ranking and 13th in Asia, according to FIFA Women?s World Ranking December edition.
The world ranking reflects the results of 71 FIFA Women�s World Cup� qualifying matches in the European zone over the past four months, along with numerous friendly matches, mostly involving Asian sides.

The US, Germany, and Japan stand first through third in the list respectively, being distinguished as the world top women football teams.

In Asia, Japan topped the list, followed by Australia, North Korea and South Korea.

The teams reserve a good status in the total ranking. Australian women national team stands 9th worldwide, as North Korean has taken the 10th and South Korea the 17th rank. China stands 18th in the world list and fifth in Asia.
