Bushehr, Nov 30, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani heading a delegation arrived in Assalouyeh in this southern province Saturday to visit the projects of the South Pars gas field development.
Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh as well as a number of local officials.


Assalouyeh is known as Iran?s ?energy capital.?

While in Assalouyeh, President Rouhani is to participate in a local meeting, tour South Pars gas field as well as several petrochemical complexes.

President Rouhani arrived in Bushehr province Saturday morning to visit the quake-stricken areas.

Minutes after arrival, President Rouhani went to a hospital where the injured of the Dashtestan quake were being cured.

Two days ago, a 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook the provincial city of Dashtestan leaving seven dead and 195 wounded.
