TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Aerospace Organization is holding a flight procedure design workshop for the Developing-8 Group (D8) member states.The workshop organized by Irans Aerospace Organization started work on Monday morning and will continue for 5 days.
The workshop is attended by aviation staffs from 5 of the D8 group members as well as the staff of the Iranian airlines. Skilled Iranian experts and technicians have been assigned with training the participants and administering the workshop.
The educational workshop which covers various aviation topics, including designing flight procedures, will cover subjects like the needs of the pilots and controllers to increase staff familiarity with the system and with the types and reasons of flight procedure designing in order to have a more efficient implementation of instructions and improve the aerospace industrys know-how, Head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization Hamid Reza Pahlavani said at the inauguration ceremony of the workshop.
He expressed the hope that the participants in the workshop would be able to provide better services after learning more about flight procedure designing, and that such workshops would pave the way for the enhancement of friendship and Islamic culture among the D8 members.
The Developing 8 (D-8 or Developing Eight) are a group of developing countries with large Muslim populations that have formed an economic development alliance. It consists of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey. The objectives of D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation are to improve member states position in the global economy, diversify and create new opportunities in trade relations, enhance participation in decision-making at international level, and improve standards of living. D-8 is a global arrangement rather than a regional one, as the composition of its members reflects.
