Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA � An earthquake measuring 3.0 on Richter scale jolted Basht district in mid-south province of Kohgiloyeh and Boier Ahmad late Monday evening.

According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 23:40 hours local time (20:10hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 30.21 degrees latitude and 51.05 degrees longitude and in depth of 18 kilometers underground.


There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
