TEHRAN (FNA)- Russian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Viktor Bondarev visited Shahid Sattari Aviation Science and Technology University on Sunday.During the tour, the Russian air force commander visited the various parts of the university, including its aerospace engineering college and self-sufficiency and research center, and was briefed about their activities and programs.
Lieutenant General Bondarev arrived in Tehran at the head of a military delegation this morning.
Earlier today, he met with Iranian Air Force Commander Brigadier General Hassan Shah Safi, where the two top military officials discussed mutual cooperation and regional developments.
The two top air force commanders underlined the need for the further expansion of bilateral and mutual cooperation.
The Iranian and Russian air force commanders also exchanged views over important issues, including missile and defense cooperation.
Later in the day, Commander of Irans Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmayeeli and Lieutenant General Bondarev discussed mutual cooperation in air defense fields.
Brigadier General Esmayeeli and Lieutenant General Bondarev also discussed exchange of information, air defense techniques, electronic and radar as well as missile systems.
