ILNA: The principlists, in general, willhelp Irans president Hassan Rouhani to improve societys situation in the country, Deputy Vice head of Irans Motalefeh political party, expert on international relations Hassan Lastjerdi told Trend.

Speaking about Hassan Rouhanis newly formed cabinet and his pre-election slogans, the expert noted that in general, Rouhani has managed to form a good team.

"At least the persons in charge of the important economic ministries such as oil, energy, Economic Affairs and Finance are all experienced," he said. "But we should wait a while to determine if the government can fulfill its promises and slogans or not".

Lastjerdi said that Rouhanis slogan was to use experienced, hard-working politicians in his administration, and he has already used well-known and experienced people in foreign policy and economy issues.

"The president has also used experienced people, who can help him to deal with other organizations, such as National Security Council, Vice-presidency for Strategic Planning and Supervision, and the Plan and Budget Organization," he noted.

Lasrjerdi said that Rouhani managed to create a "multy-party" system to some extent, as current administration includes politicians from different backgrounds and parties.

He added that for all parties it is important to defend countrys national interests.

Lastjerdi said that despite Rouhanis slogans and his reformist approach, the principlists, especially veteran politicians, have announced their readiness to help the president.

He went on to note that currently the principlists are not present in the first layers of the administration, however some of them are working in the secondary layers.
