Iran to list U.S. elements involved in terrorism

The Iran Project : Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi said on his X account that the United States, with a troubling history of intervening in the internal affairs of other nations, repeatedly imposes sanctions on certain Iranian nationals under the so-called Rewards for Justice (RFJ) program, using various excuses and offering financial incentives for information gathering.

According to The Iran Project, U.S. officials seem to have forgotten that when it comes to discussing terrorism, sabotage, threats, sanctions, and interference in the domestic affairs of other countries, the name of the United States is mentioned, he said.

The Legal and International Affairs Department of the Foreign Ministry is collaborating with other entities and coordinating with the Supreme National Security Council to compile a list of American elements involved in terrorism, cyber sabotage, violations of Iranians’ rights, and other activities detrimental to Iran’s national security, the official also said.

To develop this list, legal experts will utilize established laws, including those addressing human rights violations and the United States’ aggressive and terrorist actions in the West Asia region, as well as legislation related to retaliatory measures against the designation of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps as a terrorist organization by the United States, Gharibabadi said.
