Iran to face Palestine in AFC Asian Cup on Jan. 14
Iran national men's football team, which is in Group C, will face Palestine in the first match of the Asian Cup group stage on January 14.
Iran and the Palestinian national team have faced each other 5 times so far. In the 5 matches played between the two teams, the Iranian team won 3 matches there have been 2 draws.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup will be hosted by Qatar between 12 January and 10 February 2024.
Due to the high summer temperatures and Qatar's participation in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the tournament was postponed to 12 January – 10 February 2024, while retaining the original name for both existing sponsorship and logistical purposes.
