According to The Iran Project, the joint exhibition of female artists of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan with the theme of "painting and its role in preserving society" held at the Safar Murad Museum of Visual Arts.
 
Ismail Orazov, head of Safar Murad Museum of Visual Arts of Turkmenistan, Navid Rasuli, Cultural Attache of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan, diplomats and their families and some artists of the two countries are among those were present at the conference.
 
Referring to the favorable relations between the two countries, Iran and Turkmenistan, Ismail Orazov said, "Art does not need to be translated, it clearly tells everything that exists in it."
 
Elsewhere in his remarks, he touched upon the culture of the countries, and stated that the customs of every country are reflected in its culture, and the customs of the people of Turkmenistan can also be seen in its culture.
 
For his part, Navid Rasuli, Cultural Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan, appreciated the Turkmen officials for providing this opportunity.
 
Holding a joint exhibition of the works of women artists of Turkmenistan and Iran in the first days of the new year shows the attention and emphasis of the authorities of the two countries on the issue of culture and art and its effect on strengthening cooperation, the Iranian official said.
