According to The Iran Project, Abbas Aliabadi made the comments in an interview with Tasnim news Agency on Tuesday.

Regarding some cases raised that the Minister of Industry is against the import of Chinese cars, he stated, “In my opinion, car manufacturers in the field of electric cars should have a special focus on the production of cars which are compatible with the climate of our country.”

So that we can get good result that is required not focus on importing electric cars, he added.

The minister said that by this move, we want to create a beneficial competition for the interest of the national capacity.

Aliabadi went on to note that we are seeking to resolve the dispute in the automobile industry in the matter of car imports.

In the field of cars, we are faced a variety of colors, models and technology and as long as these disagreements exist, importing car is a suitable way for managing the market, he reiterated.

The Ministry of Industry has planned various programs to allay the concerns in the automobile industry, including the imposition of tariffs, he underscored.
