�Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has announced the Islamic Republic's preparedness to help advance UN-centered regional initiatives regarding Afghanistan affairs.






Amirabdollahian made the remarks in Tehran on Monday during the meeting with the UN Secretary-General's Special Coordinator for the independent assessment process on Afghanistan, Feridun Hadi Sinirlio?lu.

The top Iranian diplomat considered forming an all-inclusive government in Afghanistan and fighting against terrorism as "important".

He also called for supporting the regional initiatives over resolving the challenges in Afghanistan.

Saying Afghanistan needs urgent solutions, he noted that if the international community does not pay serious attention to the security challenges of the country caused by the movements of terrorist groups, its grave repercussions will affect the region and the world, he further noted.

For his part, Sinirlio?lu, presented his assessment regarding the developments in Afghanistan and the country�s situation in various fields.

He also reaffirmed the UN�s determination to support the regional initiatives for Afghanistan to help form an inclusive government in this country.
