Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary-General of Iran's High Council for Human Rights stated that Sweden is morphing into a prison for Muslims with the support of the government.


In his Twitter account, Kazem Gharibabadi noted: "Sacrilege to religious sanctities is under no circumstances whatsoever acceptable. Religious intolerance is raging across Europe; and now, Sweden is morphing into a prison for Muslims with the support of the government. Seems they�ve missed Medieval Inquisition!"

Rasmus Paludan, Leader of a right-wing and anti-Islamic Danish party, also known as the Hard Line party,�along with his supporters, has planned to set the holy Qur'an on fire in a mainly-Muslim area in the Swedish city of Linkoping. They were forced to leave the place due to the protest of the Muslims and the intervention of the police.

Videos posted on social media show dozens of counter-protesters demonstrating against a far-right group's intention to burn the holy Qur'an.

Similar clashes erupted in the Swedish city of Malm� last summer, with anti-Islamic groups setting fire to a copy of the holy Quran, leading to street riots.
