IranAir schedules flights to Madrid, Vienna

Financial Tribune - Irans flag carrier airline IranAir has scheduled two return flights to bring back Iranian students and residents stranded in Madrid, Spain.

The first flight is scheduled to leave Imam Khomeini International Airport to Madrid on May 4 at 10:45 a.m. local time.

The return flight is scheduled to leave Madrid, on the same day, at 4:15 p.m. local time and land at IKIA on Tuesday at 00:35 a.m. local time, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development's news service reported.

The second flight is scheduled for May 6.

IranAir has obtained permits from the Health Ministry and all necessary health protocols will be in effect for the flights. Tickets can be purchased at IranAir offices.

The Iranian airline has also scheduled a return flight to Vienna to bring home Iranians from Austria.

The flight is scheduled to leave Imam Khomeini International Airport to Austria on May 5 at 10:30 a.m. local time, IRNA reported.

The return flight from Vienna is scheduled for the same day at 1:50 p.m. local time.

Tickets for the flight can be purchased from www.iranair.at.

The newly-scheduled flights come at the request of Iranian students and residents seeking to return home Spain and Austria amid the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

Last week, IranAir had scheduled a return flight to Milan, Italy.
