Iran FM: Rejection of international law on rise
Tasnim The rejection of international law is on the rise, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday, during a meeting in Beijing with the Chinese governments top diplomat, State Councilor Wang Yi.

Rejection of international law, not just lack of respect for international law, but, in fact, contempt for international law, is on the rise and we need to work together, Zarif told Wang, in comments in front of reporters, Reuters reported.

The top diplomat said he was in Beijing to brief the Chinese official on his recent meetings in France on the 2015 nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers.

Zarif started his tour of East Asia on Monday, a few days after he returned from a tour of four European countries.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Zarif left Tehran for the Chinese capital of Beijing as the first stop of his Asian tour, which will also take him to Japan and Malaysia.
