IRNA � The US is spreading Iranophobia to milk and blackmail the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, former Iraqi lawmaker said.

The US aims to blackmail littoral states of the Persian Gulf by spreading Iranophobia, Hanan Al Fatlawi, head of the Eradaa Movement and former Iraqi lawmaker said.

She made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

The US should give up pressure against the sovereign states, Al Fatlawi added.

She lauded Tehran's support for Baghdad in the fight against Daesh (ISIS) terrorism and said that Iraq is opposed to the US' unilateral sanctions against Iran.
