Financial Tribune - Iran Airports Company registered 34,774 takeoffs and landings during the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20), which shows a 15% decrease compared with the similar period of last year.

A total of 4.32 million passengers and 49,200 tons of cargos were transported during the period, indicating a 14% and 11% decline respectively year-on-year, IAC's latest data published on its website show.

The latest IAC report also shows 28,975 takeoffs and landings were made by domestic flights during the one month, down 12% compared with the similar period of last year. More than 3.43 million passengers and 31,629 tons of cargo were transported domestically, indicating a 10% and 6% decline respectively YOY.
