IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday stressed the need for expediting repair works on the flood-hit areas, saying that restoration of buildings should be completed by July 22 so that the people would able to return to their homes.

In a ceremony to appreciate the efforts of the state-run institutes and armed forces in flooding, he added that the sacrificing forces did a big work in the incident, as it will remain a golden record in the country�s history of relief and cooperation.

Stressing the need for rebuilding damaged residential areas, Rouhani urged interior minister and head of Housing Foundation to do their best in this regard.

Referring to the establishment of a committee comprising elites and experts to study aspects of the flooding, he said that the committee is scheduled to offer solutions and shed light on future.

Rouhani also called on the officials to do their utmost to restore electricity and gas supplies to the affected areas.
