United Nations Iran - Since the middle of March 2019, intense rainfalls, storms and blizzards caused flooding in the Islamic Republic of Iran, causing significant human and material losses in 25 of the 31 provinces of the country.

In response to the floods, between April 5 and 18, NRC dispatched three teams to Golestan, Lorestan and Khuzestan provinces to conduct rapid needs and emergency assessment.
