Pakistani PM Iran visit to bolster friendly ties: Pakistan MP
IRNA - Pakistani Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Planning Development and Reform Kanwal Shauzab said on Tuesday that she believes that Prime Minister Imran Khans upcoming visit to Iran would usher new era of cooperation between the two countries.

In an interview with IRNA, Kanwal Shauzab said that the visit would also be very helpful in bringing economic prosperity in the region.
It is a maiden visit which would create a balance in the region and will defeat all conspiracies against Iran-Pakistan ties, she said.
According to Pakistans foreign ministry statement Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay an official visit to Iran on April 21-22 on the invitation of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani.
She said that Pakistan is a peace-loving country and desires good relations with all of its neighboring countries, especially Iran.
Iran holds very important position in Pakistans foreign policy and we share a long border with Iran in Balochistan, the parliamentarian said.
She was of the view that strong ties with neighbors are very crucial for the security of the region.
The lawmaker said, 'We can change friends but we cannot change neighbors.'
Kanwal Shauzab expressing her views said: We want strong bonds and links with all of our neighbors.
'Our region needs economic prosperity and stability and for this, all countries of the region have to work together.'
The politician noted that PM Imrans Iran visit would also help boost trade with Iran. We have to adopt a mutual strategy to deal with the issues of region.
We need strong relations with Iran for our economic survival and economic prosperity, she said.
Kanwal Shauzab went on to say that lots of people go to Iran for religious tourism so this visit would also help to enhance religious tourism between Iran and Pakistan.
