IRNA � Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the US behavior is the sign of a declining empire.

In a twitter post on Saturday, he stressed that the 'US is the single biggest source of instability in MidEast.'

He said 'It may be deluded enough to believe that persistently violating int'l law, bullying sovereign nations & milking its clients projects strength. It does not.'

The foreign minister underlined that 'Its recklessness just displays panic of an empire in decline'.

The message reflects upon the latest decision on the US President Donald Trump in violating the human rights norms. He said it was high time for Washington to 'fully recognize Israel's Sovereignty' over the region.

'After 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognize Israel's Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability,' Trump tweeted.

His remarks were met by widespread protest of many world countries including Iran, Russia, Turkey, Jordan, France, the European Union and many other international bodies and organizations.
