SHANA -- The CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) said the company was planning to carry out 6 contract packages with Rls. 50,000 billion of credits by Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Production Company.

According to NISOC, Ahmad Mohammadi said the contracts concerned production enhancement and maintenance of 27 oilfields in a matter of two years.

The official who was addressing a meeting of Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh with Masjed Soleyman officials and elites, said that the capital would be spent in Lali Asmari, Lali Bangestan and Zilaei regions in Andimeshk and Masjed Soleyman, both in the southwestern province of Khuzestan.

He said 4% of the capital for the packages would be spent for public utility and social responsibility projects.

Mohammadi further added that colleting associated gases as well as completion of petrochemical projects in the areas operated by Masjed Soleyman Oil and Gas Production Company would also lead to completion of the value chain of the industry in the region as well.
