MNA � Contrary to enemies� expectations, Iran has no difficulty with meeting the domestic demand for foodstuff, Iranian deputy agriculture minister announced on Sunday.

�Presently, some 83 percent of domestic demand for foodstuff has been supplied in the country,� Iranian Deputy Agriculture Minister Abdolmahdi Bakhshandeh said, underscoring the high level of food security in Iran.

�Iran�s capability of producing agricultural products currently stands at 122 million tons per annum,� Bakhshandeh added.
