IRNA - Deputy Minister of Petroleum for Refining and Distributing pointed out the progress made in the production of petroleum products in refineries, and said for the time being 120 million liters of Euro 5 gasoline and gasoil are produced daily.


Alireza Sadeghabadi said on Sunday at a news conference at the venue of the Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery that on average 76 million liters of Euro 5 gasoline are produced in the country everyday from the total oil production of Euro 5.

The official noted that from this amount of Euro 5 gasoline produced, 33 million liters are of Persian Gulf Star refinery, 12 million liters of Bandar Abbas oil refineries, 17 million liters of Imam Khomeini refinery of Shazand, 11 million liters of the refinery in Isfahan, and 3 million liters of the refinery in Tabriz.

He said the average daily Euro 4 gasoline production in the country was 44 million liters, saying, 'Of the 15 million liters are produced in the oil refinery in Bandar Abbas.'
