Financial Tribune - Golestan National Park in the northeastern province of Golestan will be equipped with a smart fire alarm system by next March.

With a 40 billion rials ($363,000) investment, the project is being jointly carried out by the Department of Environment and the ICT Ministry.

Hamid Zohrabi, a DOE deputy told ISNA that using flame detectors a smart fire alarm system is to be set up in the national park which is highly susceptible to blaze, especially along the 12km road that traverses the important park.
