Press TV - Iran football manager, Carlos Queiroz, has announced his final 23-man squad, who will accompany the Cheetahs to the United Arab Emirates, for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.

Saeed Ezatolahi and Ali Gholizadeh, who picked up injuries just days before the tournament, will unfortunately miss the event. The 3-time Asian Champions, who have been pitted against Iraq, Vietnam and Yemen in Group D, will begin their campaign on January 7th against Yemen.

Team Melli will feature Alireza Beiranvand, Morteza Pouraliganji, Ramin Rezaeian, Ehsan Haj-Safi�e, Vahid Amiri, Omid Ebrahimi, Ashkan Dejagah, Masoud Shojaei, Karim Ansarifard, Sardar Azmoun, and Alireza Jahanbakhsh among the final squad. Carlos Queiroz and his Cheetahs, are looking to get the Asian throne back, after 43 years.
