IRNA - Health Minister blasted the US for imposing unilateral and unjust sanctions against the Iranian nation which will adversely influence the people's health.

On Wednesday, Seyyed Hassan Hashemi added at the Project of Finance initiatives in the International Summit on Mother Health, Child and Nutrition in New Delhi, �The World Health Organization, along with other international organizations and governments, is required to prevent such sanctions, as sanctions affect people�s access to medicine and medical technology.�

'I propose to use this summit as an opportunity for complete peace in the world, and we invite all international organizations and countries to act against injustice and convince governments to put health and nutrition, especially for mothers and children, at the top of their priority,' the Iranian Ministry of Health stated.
