IRNA - Iran's minister of communication suggested setting up a regional center for supporting startups activities.


Mohammad-Javad Azari-Jahromi made the remarks Tuesday addressing the meeting which was held with the attendance of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey in Baku.

Iran's initiatives is to create a joint market in the region in the field of information and technology between Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

He also urged governments to understand the importance of startups and modern businesses.

The Mohammad-Javad Azari-Jahromi 24th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and Technologies Exhibition 'Bakutel-2018' opened Tuesday. It will be wrapped up on December 7.
