Iran sympathizes with Pakistan over terrorist attack

IRNA Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Friday sympathized with the people and government of Pakistan over the recent terrorist attack.

Bahram Qasemi condemned the terrorist attack to a market in northern Pakistan, which claimed lives of dozens of innocent people.

The Iranian spokesman offered condolences to the bereaved families of victims and wished speedy recovery of the injured.

He also slammed the failed suicide attack on the Chinese consulate in Pakistan's Karachi.

Qasemi expressed happiness over failure of the attack and health of the Chinese consulate employees.

The official called for serious and collective effort by all countries against the sinister phenomenon of terrorism and the inhumane actions committed by terrorists.

A suicide bomber killed at least 30 people at a market in northern Pakistan just hours after gunmen assaulted the Chinese Consulate in the southern city of Karachi, killing four, dispatches reported.
