MNA � The Iranian Ambassador to London Hamid Baeidinejad expressed the embassy�s readiness to help out the Iranian staff of the UK-based Iran International who intend to end their cooperation with the TV network.

"After the exposure of affiliation of the UK-based Persian-language networks, especially �Iran International� TV, some of their staff contacted the Iranian embassy in London, expressing their concern over the legal threats posed by those networks should they stop working for them,� wrote Hamid Baeidinejad in a Persian tweet on Saturday.

�The embassy has an experienced lawyer at hand to give those people legal consultation,� the Iranian ambassador added.

On October 31, the British newspaper �the Guardian� revealed that UK-based Iran International TV station is being funded through a secretive offshore entity and a company whose director is a Saudi Arabian businessman with close links to the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.

After the Iran International aired an interview with a spokesman for a separatist and extremist group behind the recent deadly terrorist attack in the southern city of Ahvaz, the Iranian ambassador filed a lawsuit at the UK�s communications regulator Ofcom.
