Iran to give severe blow to aggressors

IRNA Powerful Iranian Armed Forces will strongly respond to the aggressors wherever they are across the world if they attack the country, vice-president for parliamentary affairs said on Wednesday evening.

Hossein-Ali Amiri made the remarks in a meeting held in this southwestern Iranian city with Supreme Leaders Representative in Ahvaz, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Mousavi Jazayeri.

Referring to the Sept terror attack in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province, Amiri said that the terrorists did receive strong response from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

At least 25 were killed and more than 60 were injured on September 22 in the southwestern city of Ahvaz when several unknown terrorists opened fire aimlessly at the crowd watching a military parade staged on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of an eight-year Iraqi imposed war against Iran.

On October 1, IRGC shot six ballistic missiles from aerospace base in western Iran at eastern Syria and targeted terrorists from a distance of 570kms; at the same time seven drones also bombarded terrorists' positions. According to the IRGC, the attacks killed around 40 terrorists.
