IRNA � Iranian Ambassador in London Hamid Baeidinejad in a message on Sunday emphasized the need to shutter fake accounts in Twitter.


Baeidinejad's comments came after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif message to CEO of Twitter saying ' Hello @Jack. Twitter has shuttered accounts of real Iranians, incl TV presenters & students, for supposedly being part of an 'influence op'. How about looking at actual bots in Tirana used to prop up 'regime change' propaganda spewed out of DC?'

Shortly after Zarif pointed out the bitter reality of the existence of a massive network of fake tweets, the British Channel 4 and the Al Jazeera released documentaries revealing the hidden face of this bitter truth, Baeidinejad wrote in his Telegram.

Based on those reports, the terrorist group of Mujahedeen-e Khalq Organization (MKO) took advantage of the most advanced information technologies supplied by the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia in Camp Ashraf in Albania to send millions of messages containing anti-Iran hashtags, he added.

The ambassador urged all users to be aware of those hashtags.

In a recently broadcast documentary, Britain's Channel 4 showed how MKO terrorists attempted to create media campaign against Iran and claimed that the Iranians latest protests took place as they were followers of the MKO ringleader.

The report said that MKO has been bribing US President Donald Trump�s close aides at the White House to adopt anti-Iran policies.
The report also showed parts of a speech made by John Bolton, US National Security Advisor, during MKO annual meeting last year, when Bolton said that White House should pursue the policy of regime change in Iran.

In another development, English section of the Al Jazeera website wrote that MKO has recently been organizing a fake Twitter network launched with hashtags against the Islamic Republic.

Last month, Google, Facebook and Twitter announced the shutdown of pages and accounts they say were linked to Iran, Aljazeera reported on Sunday.
