Iraqi security expert wonders about accuracy of Iranian missiles

IRNA - The exact targeting of Iran's missiles against the headquarters of terrorist groups in Iraqi Kurdistan has caused a prominent Iraqi security expert to convey his surprise.

Retired Major General Wafiq al-Samarrai wrote on a personal page on Facebook on a Sunday note that precise missile strikes of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on the headquarters of the Iranian Democratic Party terrorist group are indicative of the great scientific technology that the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved on ground-to-ground missiles.

He added that in these blows, Iranian missiles hit the targets with very high precision, indicating that Iran's missiles have attained pin-point precision.

He has included the extensive airspace of Iran's unmanned reconnaissance aircraft with missiles as other weapons power of Iran.

Al-Samarrai, who had been the security advisor for the president Jalal Talabani, pointed out that these missile strikes contain several different messages, one of the key elements of this message is Saudi Arabia.

Major General Al-Samarrai added that Iran, through its recent strikes, sent to Riyadh a message that the real power of Iranian missiles varies with missiles that can be traced back to Patriot.

According to him, Iran, with these precision missiles, practically protested to support of the Saudi Consulate in Erbil of the terrorist group of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan.

The Iraqi expert conveyed the second blow to Erbil, in his words, Erbil did not think about possible ambitions.
