MNA � Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has issued a message congratulating Iran men�s national junior weightlifting team who won the 2018 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Junior World Championships in Uzbekistan.







The Iran men�s national�junior weightlifting team was crowned at the 2018 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF)�Junior World Championships which ended in Tashkent, Uzbekistan yesterday afternoon.

In his congratulatory message, the Iranian president expresses his gratitude to the athletes, their coaches and all who played a role in that great achievement.

Rouhani also said that winning the title once again brought joy and happiness to the Iranian people, wishing them more successes in the future competitions.

Also in this regard, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani as well as the Foreign Ministry Spoeksman Bahram Ghasemi have�issued a message congratulating winning the title for the third consecutive year.

Iran came first in the competitions with 512.8 points, followed by the host country, Turkey and the United States.

The Iranian team had previously won the last two editions of the competitions, namely 2017 Tokyo, and 2016 Georgia.
