IRNA � Any threats to Iran at any level will not be left unanswered as the Iranian armed forces will give a knockout response to the enemies, a senior commander said here on Monday.

Enemies are testing the will and power of the Iranian nation and the Islamic system against the threats, Brigadier General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters, said at a meeting attended by a number of commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force.

Threats can not be dealt with without political and social unity and coherence and support for the government's and the whole system's policies, Rashid said.

To preserve and defend their land against any threats from regional coalition's evil acts and Takfiri and terrorist groups, the Armed Forces and the Iranian nation are vigilant and ready more than ever, the commander added.

The Islamic Republic will strongly defend epic achievements gained through Islamic system's plans and heroic efforts and sacrifices to bring security and tranquility to the region, he concluded.
