IRNA � The first Forum on Parliamentarianism started work in Moscow on Monday with the attendance of over 96 countries including Iran.


Iran Majlis vice speaker Ali Motahhari heading a parliamentary delegation participated in the event.

Members of Iranian delegation and Russian Duma and the Federation Council held talks before the forum.

Some expert meetings in political, economic, cultural and parliamentary fields will also be held on the sideline of the event.

Legislation on development of the world economy in the 21st century in technology and resources sector, the role of parliaments in strengthening international security and development of National Laws, exchanging the best practical experiences and also international coordination are among main topics of the event.
