MNA� The Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei confirmed the proposal of Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi and appointed Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili as the assistant commander of Iran�s Army.

Esmaili was the commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base for eight years before replacing with Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi-Fard on May 29.
