IRNA � No Iranian military advisor has been killed in the Zionist regime's attack on an airport in Homs in Syria, an Iranian official said.


The Western-Arabic media's alleged reports about martyrdom of nine Iranian military advisors during the Israel attack on the Tiyas base near Homs on Thursday is a sheer lie and quite baseless, an Iranian military official who was speaking on condition of anonymity said.

Syrian state media said a military airport was subject to 'missile aggression' and was intercepted by air defense system before it reached its target.

'One of our military airports in the central region was exposed to a hostile missile attack, and our air defense systems confronted the attack and prevented it from achieving its aim,' Syria state news agency SANA said.
